The river Selbe ( Mongolian Сэлбэ ) flows at an altitude between 1850 and 1350 meters above sea level through the southern part of the Chentii mountain system in the central part of Mongolia . This river is 26.2 km long and has a drainage area of 220 square kilometers.
The river flows through the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar and flows into the Tuul . The same pool in the Inter-Ulaanbaatar city was renovated in 2012. Before that, the river was mostly dry in the colder months of the year. In the same year, the rivers in the Ulaanbaatar area shared the protection status to protect against urban pollution.
