Localization of Tyrol in Austria

The Inntal transmitter is a broadcasting system of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation . It is located on the Austrian side of the Inn Valley east of the municipality of Ebbs . A free-standing tubular mast is used as the antenna carrier.

The transmitter supplies some of Bavaria's localities in the Inn Valley near Kufstein , including Kiefersfelden and Oberaudorf .

Until October 13, 2011, Bayern 2 broadcast on the 92.9 MHz frequency. However, since this was disturbed by the occasional overreach of other transmission systems, the company switched to the 92.8 MHz frequency, which is only 100 kHz below.
