The transmitter Wehrden (Saar) (Saarländischer Rundfunk) is a transmission system ( transmitter for short ) of the Saarländischer Rundfunk , which was formerly used for broadcasting television signals. It is located in a forest southeast of the Wehrden (Saar) district of the city of Völklingen , at the level of the Völklingen-Geislautern junction of the federal motorway 620 .

The broadcaster supplied the Völklingen district of Geislautern with the ARD program until it was canceled without replacement with the introduction of DVB-T .
