Senedjemib Mehi was the chief architect of Pharaoh Unas (between 2353 and 2323 BC) in the 5th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom . He belonged to a family of ancient Egyptian architects who worked as architects for the Egyptian rulers from the reign of Djedkare to the reign of Pepi II . His parents were Senedjemib Inti and his wife Tjefi. Senedjemib Mehi was married to Khentkaus, a daughter of the Pharaoh, it is unclear whether she was the daughter of Djedkare or Unas. They had three children, Senedjemib and Mehi, and Khentkau's daughter. All members of the family were buried in the same tomb complex, the mastaba grave G 2385 in the necropolis of Giza . A wooden statue was found in the burial chapel there and is now on display in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston .
