Sep Cathomas (born April 2, 1945 in Brigels ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

Cathomas was from 1973 to 1989 on the municipality council of Brigels and from 1989 to 2003 on the municipality board, where he served as municipality president from 1991 and from 2000 as president of the municipality association Surselva . He has been a member of the National Council since the 2003 elections . There he was a member of the business audit commission, the commission for the environment, spatial planning and energy and the NEAT supervisory delegation . In the 2011 elections , Cathomas no longer ran.

His political work focuses on mountain and peripheral regions, tourism , SMEs and family policy.

The architect is married and has three children. In the military he has the degree of first lieutenant .
