Serge Devèze

Serge Devèze (born September 25, 1956 - December 17, 2015 ) was a French football coach .

Athletic career

Devèze came from the youth of HSC Montpellier . In the adult area, however, he only played lower class for FC Sète and Entente Le Crès .

Devèze was a coach in particular on the African continent . So he coached the Guinean national team between 1992 and 1993 , but with whom he failed in qualifying for the 1994 World Cup finals. He later worked as the national coach of the Gabonese national team , from 1998 he worked for various Tunisian clubs.

With the Beninese U-20 national team , Devèze qualified for the U-20 World Cup in 2005 , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round. In February of that year he was promoted to coach of the Benin national team after Hervé Revelli's resignation . After two defeats, however, his engagement was over in July. Most recently, he was employed by Difaâ d'El Jadida as head of the youth department.
