Sergei Valerjewitsch Belokon ( Russian Сергей Валерьевич Белоконь ; born August 25, 1988 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Neftjanik Almetyevsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League since 2013 .

Career

Sergei Belokon began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown, where he was active for the youth departments of the PHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow and the HK CSKA Moscow . From 2004 to 2007 the attacker played for Krylya Sowetov's second team in the third-rate Pervaya League . He then made his debut for the professional team of Krylja Sowetow in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, in the 2007/08 season . Most of the season he spent, however, with his league rivals HK Ryazan , for whom he scored ten goals in 32 games and gave three assists.

In the 2008/09 season Belekon played for the MHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow , which arose from the separation of the professional team and the youth department of his ex-club Krylja Sowetow. For the 2009/10 season , the right-handed shooter received a contract with Vitjas Chekhov , for which he has since been active in the Continental Hockey League . He was particularly convincing in his rookie year and was named Rookie of the Month at the KHL in September 2009. In total, he scored eight goals in 34 KHL games and provided six templates. The rest of the season he spent with Vitjas' junior team in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In the 2010/11 season , the Russian played exclusively for Vitjas in the KHL, but only came to 26 missions in which he scored two goals and was an assist.
