Sergei Wassiljewitsch Bakulin ( Russian Сергей Васильевич Бакулин ; born November 13, 1986 in Saransk ) is a Russian walker .

Career

At the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona in 2010 , he finished third in a 50 km walk with a personal best of 3:43:26 h. He was not nominated for the home World Cup in Moscow in 2013.

doping

In January 2015, he was banned for three years and two months retrospectively to December 24, 2012 due to abnormalities in his biological passport and all results between January 25, 2011 and March 25, 2011, between June 16, 2011 and March 16, 2011. August 2011 and between April 11, 2012 and June 11, 2012 deleted. So he would have kept his world title from 2011. The IAAF therefore went to the International Court of Justice and won in 2016.
