Sergio Somma (born May 13, 1987 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American ice hockey player who has been under contract with Starbulls Rosenheim in the DEL2 since the 2014/2015 season .
Career
Sergio Somma began his career as a hockey player with the Green Bay Gamblers, for which he was active from 2005 to 2007 in the junior league United States Hockey League . He then attended Ohio State University for four years , for whose ice hockey team he played parallel in the National Collegiate Athletic Association . Towards the end of the 2010/11 season , the attacker made his professional ice hockey debut for the Chicago Wolves from the American Hockey League . In five games he scored one goal and one assist.
For the 2011/12 season Somma was committed by the Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League .
