Shūichi Gonda ( Japanese 権 田 修 一 , Gonda Shūichi ; born March 3, 1989 in Setagaya-ku , Tokyo ) is a Japanese football goalkeeper .
Career
society
Shūichi Gonda played for FC Tokyo since 2001 and has been part of the professional squad since 2007. For the club, he played a total of 203 games in the J-League and J2 League (2011) by the end of 2015. In January 2016 he switched to the Austrian regional league club SV Horn for a year on loan . In his second game against SV Oberwart , he broke his shin after a collision and was out until the end of the season. With Horn he was promoted to professional football in the 2015/16 season. He initially returned to Tokyo in January 2017. In the middle of the month, his contract with the first division club was terminated.
In February 2017, he moved to Sagan Tosu .
National team
Gonda made his debut on January 6, 2010 for the Japanese national soccer team in the game against Yemen . In 2012 he took part with Japan in the Olympic Games in London and finished fourth with the team.
