Shai Maaravi (born October 29, 1996 ) is an Israeli ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Maccabi Metulla Eggenbreggers in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2012 .

Career

Shai Maaravi has played with the Maccabi Metulla Eggenbreggers since the beginning of his career , for whom he will make his debut in the Israeli ice hockey league in the 2012/13 season .

International

In the junior division, Maaravi was on the ice at the U18 World Championships in Division III in 2013 and 2014 . In both tournaments he acted as captain of his team. In 2014 he was named the best player on his team. He was also involved in the first appearance of an Israeli U20 national team since 1997 at the World Cup in Division III in 2016 .

For the men's national team , Maaravi took part in the Division II World Championships in 2013 , 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 .
