Shaky is a 1981 music album by Welsh musician Shakin 'Stevens . Shaky was Stevens' first album to top the charts in the UK and includes the number 1 single Green Door .

Creation and successes

The follow-up to his album This Ole House was recorded at Eden Studios, produced by Stuart Colman and released by Epic Records in September 1981.

On November 1, 1981, Shaky displaced the Human League album Dare from the top of the British charts, but was replaced a week later by Queen 's first greatest hits album . Stevens had single successes with Green Door , which became a number 1 hit, and You Drive Me Crazy , which made it to number 2 in the UK charts. Another top 10 hit on the album was It's Raining .

For the first time, Stevens also excelled as a songwriter, as 5 of the 14 songs were written by him. This Time was written by Chips Moman , who would produce the Sun Records Reunion Class of '55 five years later . Micky Gee can be heard as the guitarist .
