Timo Kojo

Timo Kojo (born May 9, 1953 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish singer. He was a member of the band Madame George .

Live and act

In 1977 Madame George released their only album, Madame George: What's Happening . In 1979 he released his first solo album, So Mean , which became a hit. The albums released afterwards were not a great success.

After Kojo's third solo album, Go All the Way , which was released in 1981, became a fiasco, Kojo decided to take part in the Finnish preliminary round Euroviisut , which he also won, so that he could represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 in Harrogate . His contribution Nuku pommiin , of which an English version called Bomb Out! received a point from none of the 18 participating countries and placed at the bottom of the table. Even today, a 0-0 score is called "kojo kojo" in Finnish ice hockey.
