Let Mårtenson
Lars Anders Fredrik "Lasse" Mårtenson (born September 24, 1934 in Helsinki , † May 14, 2016 in Espoo ) was a Finnish jazz singer and pianist .
Live and act
In the 1950s he was popular as a singer and pianist in Finland with his Lasse Mårtenson Trio . Numerous singles by him appeared in the 1960s. He won the Finnish preselection for the Eurovision Grand Prix in Copenhagen in 1964 , where he came seventh with the jazz song Laiskotellen ( German idiot ). From the 1970s he was mainly active as a composer for television and wrote many the theme tunes for Finnish series. He occasionally appeared in it himself with small supporting roles. His album Skärgård - saaristo was honored with a gold record in Finland in 1978 .
