Beat was a Finnish band that existed from 1980 to 1990 and released two albums during that time.

In 1990 the band represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Zagreb . Your Swedish-language song Fri? (Eng .: free? ) received eight points and came in last place together with the Norwegian contribution.

Shortly thereafter, the band broke up.
