Jarkko ja Laura (English: Jarkko and Laura ) is a Finnish hit duo , consisting of the singers Jarkko Antikainen and Laura Ruotsalo .

The duo became active in the mid-1960s and released singles with their own titles and cover songs. As the winner of the Finnish preliminary round, they were allowed to compete for their country at the Gran Premio de la Canción de Eurovision in Madrid in 1969 . With the hit Kuin silloin ennen they reached twelfth place. The two married shortly after the competition. Singles of them appeared until 1972, then Jarkko worked as a photographer . Laura remained active as a singer, and in 2004 she released a solo album. Jarkko and Laura rarely appear as a duo.
