Päivi Paunu (born September 20, 1946 in Helsinki , † December 14, 2016 ) was a Finnish pop singer .

Her first recordings began to appear in 1966. Together with singer Kim Floor, she was selected to compete for Finland in the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest . In Edinburgh they reached twelfth place with their folkloric title Muistathan .

After studying at the University of Helsinki in the 1980s, she worked as a speech therapist . She still had vocal appearances.
