Sheldon Turner

Sheldon Turner is an American screenwriter and television producer who became internationally known for films such as Game Without Rules , Up in the Air , and X-Men: First Decision .

life and career

Sheldon Turner graduated from New York University before settling in Hollywood as a screenwriter . Turner has been a screenwriter in the film business since 2005. His breakthrough came when Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo signed Turner for the film Game Without Rules for their team of authors. A year later he worked for the South African director Jonathan Liebesman on his horror thriller Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning . Together with director Jason Reitman , Turner wrote the script for Up in the Air, starring George Clooney and Vera Farmiga . The film was nominated for an Oscar in 2010 for Best Adapted Screenplay . Turner has also received numerous other prestigious film award nominations for his work on Up in the Air , including the Golden Globe Award and the British Academy Film Award . In 2011 Turner wrote the story for the movie X-Men: First Decision .

In addition to his work as a screenwriter, Sheldon Turner has also been working as a television producer since 2015, for example for the television film The Advocate .

In 2016, Sheldon Turner and partner Jennifer Klein of Vendetta Productions signed a two-year contract with 20th Century Fox Television. As part of the pact, the duo will develop new projects for network, cable and streaming services.
