The Sheriff's Cliffs are 1,750 m high cliffs in Queen Elizabeth Land in West Antarctica . In the Forrestal Range of the Pensacola Mountains, they tower west of Gabbro Crest on the southeastern edge of the Saratoga Table .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1979 after the geologist Steven D. Sheriff of Western Washington University , who worked in the area from 1978 to 1979.
