The Shimano Racing Team is a Japanese road cycling team based in Sakai .
The team was founded in 2009 and has since participated in the UCI Continental Circuits as a Continental team . They drive most of the races in Japan and the rest of Asia. The manager is Masamitsu Ehara, who is supported by the sporting directors Akira Bandou, Kenji Maruyama, Hidenori Nodera and Shuichi Okubo. The team will be equipped with Giant bikes .
