Siberian Turkic people

Siberian Turkic peoples is a collective term for various ethnic groups . In contrast to the Siberian Tatars in West Siberia , the Turkic peoples who settle further to the east are not Muslims , but rather Christians, Buddhists and members of other religions. Shamanic practices used to be widespread and are now being resumed and developed.

The traditional crops and farming practices of the Siberian Turkic joined both the steppe cultures of Central Asia and to whom the reindeer - nomads of the taiga on. With the exception of the Tuvins and Yakuts , all of the above-mentioned population groups now live as minorities in their original residential areas.
