Sibylle Krause burger

Sibylle Krause-Burger (* 1935 in Berlin ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Krause-Burger is the daughter of Walter Burger, a merchant from Swabia, and Edith Wolle, a Jewish woman from Berlin . Krause-Burger grew up in Württemberg and studied political science with Theodor Eschenburg in Tübingen . She then worked as a freelancer for various radio stations and newspapers - especially the Stuttgarter Zeitung , the Süddeutsche Zeitung , the Tagesspiegel and the Manager Magazin . Her focus is on portraits of the powerful in politics and business, political reports and background reports. From 1988 onwards, she was editor in chief of the SDR / SWR for twelve years . Since 1997 she has been working as a political columnist for the Stuttgarter Zeitung. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Academy for Spoken Word in Stuttgart.
