Sibylle Möndel (* 1959 in Stuttgart ) is a German painter and printmaker .

Life

Möndel completed her training with Hans K. Schlegel in Stuttgart. Among other things, she works in the workshops of the Künstlerhaus Stuttgart . From 2003 to 2010 she worked in the regional management and from 2012 to 2015 she was regional director of the VBKW region Ludwigsburg of the Association of Visual Artists Baden-Württemberg. She lives and works in Kornwestheim near Ludwigsburg.

Möndel mostly worked abstractly with pigments , ashes and binders on canvas . Mostly in a combination of drawing and painting. Her work was expanded to include screen printing .

  • 2006 Mainzer Kunstpreis Eisenturm 2006 "Vision Europe" (1st prize) for her work Immigranten .
