Sidney Luft
Michael Sidney Luft , known as Sidney Luft and Sid Luft , (born November 2, 1915 in New York City , New York - † September 16, 2005 in Santa Monica , California ) was an American film producer .
Life
Sidney Luft was married to actress Lynn Bari from 1943 to 1950 , and Judy Garland from 1952 to 1965 , with whom he had the children Lorna Luft and Joey Luft . He is the stepfather of Liza Minnelli . As a producer, he excelled in two movies. On the one hand the 1947er Comedy Kilroy was here by Phil Karlson with the two former child star Jackie Cooper and Jackie Coogan in the lead roles, on the other George Cukor's popular Judy Garland vehicle A new star in the sky ( A Star Is Born , 1954). In his fourth marriage he was married to the actress Camille Keaton since 1993.
