action

With a child on vacation, farmer Mads Madsen wants to comfort his wife Katrine, who lost her little daughter a year ago. But before he knows it, half a dozen children and their kindergarten teacher are haunted in the yard. There is a bit of excitement when it turns out that little Lars also brought his girlfriend Hanne with him, who was washed out of her tent in the yard by a thunderstorm, and also when Henry, the oldest among the children, runs away on his motorcycle, because the child-hostile shopkeeper has called him a thief. But just as the thunderstorm quickly gives way to new sunshine, thanks to the wisdom of the servant Kristian, there is also vain joy at the Madsen farm: Katrine Madsen wins a new daughter in the parentless Hanne, and Alice, the maid, conquers herself with the help of Children of the shy clerk Søren.

Reviews

The Protestant film observer is more praiseworthy : “A children's film from Denmark that sings a little praises of rural life in a reader-like manner. The straightforward story of a vacation stay on a farm is told without much effort, but it is precisely for this reason that it is an entertainment material for children from the age of 8. ”In contrast, the film service does not think much of the film :“ A largely boring, talkative children's film about life the country whose already meager plot is stretched by superfluous singing. - Possible from 6.
