Siegfried Grönig (born April 20, 1942 in Berlin ; † June 28, 2000 there ) was a German actor .

Life

Grönig began his acting career in the mid-1960s. He made his feature film debut in Rudolf Zehetgruber's crime film The Secret of the Chinese Carnation at the side of Dietmar Schönherr and Klaus Kinski . In the 1960s and 1970s he was only seen sporadically in television productions, it was only in the 1980s that his engagements increased. He played guest roles in the series Jakob and Adele , Tatort and Didi - Der Unterermieter .

Grönig had a small supporting role in Peter Zadek's star-cast Simmel film The Wild Fifties . The German-speaking television audience knew him primarily through his role as a curious and at the same time strange neighbor Georg Meisel, who, with the cat Tassilo in his arms, constantly tries to interfere with the lives of the Wicherts next door . Grönig also worked as a voice actor for René Auberjonois .

He died on June 28, 2000 and was buried on July 24, 2000 in the Wilmersdorf cemetery.
