Siegfried Kaske

Siegfried Kaske (born January 2, 1950 ) is a German entrepreneur who manages corporate investments.

Business activity

Kaske began his professional career at the former Asko Deutsche Kaufhaus AG in Saarbrücken , where he received power of attorney in 1983 and was appointed to the board in 1995 . In the course of the merger of Asko AG and Kaufhof Holding AG with the former   Metro AG in Cologne , he moved to the management board of Metro AG in 1996 together with CEO Klaus Wiegandt and legal advisor Wolf-Dietrich Loose, which he left at the end of 1998 to rearrange the approximately 250 holdings of the three merged companies.

First, in 1999, together with Gustav Fritsche, he took over the management board of Divaco Beteiligungs AG , which was held by Metro AG, the  Gerling Group and Deutsche Bank and which he acquired in 2004; thereafter he was its sole director until 2019. That same year he took over the management in 1997 Langenburg founded Divafon investment company , one year later the renamed in 1998 and from Chemnitz to  Dusseldorf laid Divacom investment company . With contributions of 324 and 76 million euros respectively, both companies are limited partners of Divaco Beteiligungs AG & Co. KG , founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1998 (since 2010: Divaco Holding), whose business is managed by Divaco Beteiligungs AG, as is that of Divaco & Co. Handelsbeteiligungen KG existed from 2003 to 2006 . In 2010 he took over the management of Divaco Beteiligungsverwaltungs GmbH   from Bernhard Scholtes, who moved to the board of directors of DFH Deutsche Fertighaus Holding , Divaco Holding's largest investment , which he headed from 2001 to 2004 and from 2016 to 2019 as chairman of the board and of which he has been on the board since then presides.

Kaske has been managing his more than 50 corporate investments since 2002 together with his nephew Arndt Volz (managing director / board member in all companies) from Langenburg. With an estimated fortune of around 350–400 million euros, he is one of the 500 richest Germans.
