Siegfried Roehrig

Kurt Hermann Siegfried Roehrig (born October 31, 1876 in Tecklenburg , † March 29, 1953 in Schleswig ) was a Prussian district administrator .

Life

As the son of Mr and Mrs Hermann Roehrig (district administrator of the district Tecklenburg ) and Ottilie Bertha Siebel made Siegfried Roehrig in 1896 at the Royal College of Pomerania graduated from high school and studied at the Universities of Freiburg , Berlin and Bonn Jura . On July 14, 1900, he passed the examination for court trainee lawyer with the result “sufficient” and on August 10, 1900 he was appointed court trainee lawyer at the Higher Regional Court of Hamm . In April 1901 he received his doctorate in Greifswald as Doctor iuris utriusque with the result Cum laude .

Of 15 September 1902, he was a government clerk in the county government Koszalin worked and was here to sit the examination for government assessor on September 1 (result "sufficient") 1905 Regierungsassessor appointed. He was assigned to the district administrators in Minden and Düren to provide assistance before he was referred to the Danzig district government . On April 16, 1911, he was appointed to represent the district administrator of the Halle district on leave, and on July 1, 1911, he was given the municipal administration of the district office. After the Halle district council had asked for the appointment of district administrator on October 21, 1911, renouncing his right of presentation , Roehrig was finally appointed district administrator of the Halle district on November 29, 1911 . On April 10, 1922 his appointment to the government council and the subsequent transfer to the district government of Osnabrück was . Here he was appointed to the senior government council on December 22, 1926.

On October 31, 1930 he was promoted to government director and departmental conductor at the Schleswig district government and in 1932 to government vice-president. In October 1943 he was given leave of absence and released from civil service in February 1944.

He did his military service as a one-year volunteer with the Westphalian Jäger Battalion No. 7 and was major in the reserve here. From August 18 to December 4, 1914 he took part in the fighting in World War I and was released on complaint.

Roehrig had married Johanna Maria Emilia Burckhardt on July 20, 1916 in Berlin-Dahlem.
