technology
The single box-shaped cargo hold with a volume of 11,237 m 3 has two decks and is equipped for the transport of containers and the transport of dangerous goods containers, whereby no cell guides were installed as standard . A rear loading ramp enables loading with rolling cargo of all kinds. In addition, the ship is equipped with grain bulkheads for the subdivision of different loads. Hydraulically operated folding hatch covers made by MacGregor / Navire, reinforced with heavy cargo, were used. Due to the shape of the hold, this type of ship can be used particularly well in cellulose or wood parcel transport. The tank tops are reinforced for stowing heavy cargo.
The ship of the series is driven by a diesel engine that acts on a controllable pitch propeller , the docking and casting off maneuvers are supported by a bow thruster .
The particularly reinforced hull has the German ice class E4 and was assembled in sectional construction.
