Siggerud is a village in the Norwegian municipality of Nordre Follo , located in the province ( Fylke ) Viken . The place has 1435 inhabitants (as of 2019).
geography
Siggerud is a so-called Tettsted , i.e. a settlement that is counted as one area for statistical purposes. The village is located southeast of Oslo in the former Akershus province . To the west of Siggerud is the European route 6 (E6) and Kolbotn .
history
Until the end of 2019, Siggerud belonged to what was then the municipality of Ski . As part of the state- wide municipal reform, this was transferred to the newly created municipality of Nordre Follo.
Siggerud Church ( Siggerud kirke ) was built in 1905
