Sigmund Freiherr von Uechtritz-Fuga (born May 24, 1846 in Marcaltő in Hungary, † April 16, 1925 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian landowner and politician .
Life
Sigmund Freiherr von Uechtritz-Fuga studied the winter semester 1864 to the summer semester 1865 at the University of Zurich Law . In October 1864 he became a member of the Baltica Zurich . In the following semesters he continued his studies at the universities of Ghent , Pest and Pressburg .
After completing his studies, he returned to the family estate in Marcaltő. Here he ran one of the largest thoroughbred breeds in Hungary for several decades until the outbreak of the First World War .
In 1878 von Uechtritz-Fuga was elected to the Hungarian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1881. In 1884 he was appointed a lifelong member of the Hungarian Magnate House.
