Sigurd Martin Daecke

Sigurd Martin Daecke (* 1932 in Hamburg ) is a German theologian.

Life

Daecke studied Protestant theology in Tübingen , Göttingen and Hamburg. After graduating as Dr. theol. In 1967 he was between 1957 and 1964 he was vicar , pastor , academic assistant and theological editor in Hamburg. Daecke then worked until 1970 as editor of the magazines Radius (Evangelical Academic Society ) and Evangelical Commentaries in Stuttgart , most recently as editor-in-chief of Evangelical Commentaries . In 1972 he was appointed to the chair for Protestant theology / systematic theology at the PH Aachen and since 1989 at the Philosophical Faculty of the RWTH Aachen .

Daecke's research interests are theology of nature on an interdisciplinary basis and science, technology and environmental ethics.
