Sigurd Nymoen Søberg (born August 31, 1994 in Hamar ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Sigurd Nymoen Søberg starts skiing for Furnes . On December 9 and 10, 2011, he made his debut in Notodden in the FIS Cup , where he finished 27th and 31st. After participating again in a competition in the FIS Cup in Brattleboro in February 2012, his next competition was also his debut in the Continental Cup . This took place on September 8th and 9th, 2012 in Lillehammer and he finished 45th and 66th. Since then, other competitions have followed regularly. His best placement so far and also his first podium place in the Continental Cup was a third place in the competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on January 15, 2017.

In March 2017 Søberg made his debut in Oslo as part of Raw Air 2017 in the Ski Jumping World Cup , but was 63rd in the prologue and failed to qualify for the competition. In the overall Raw Air ranking he finished 83rd and last with 84.7 points.

Søberg currently lives in Lillehammer .
