Siim Ala (born August 21, 1987 ) is an Estonian biathlete .

Siim Ala visited the Audentese Spordigümnaasium and starts for the Elva Skiclub . He contested his first international races in 2008 as part of the IBU Cup and was 110th and 74th in sprint races in Idre . It was not until 2010 that he contested more races in the racing series. His best result so far was a 45th place in an individual in Osrblie , which he achieved in 2011 . The first international championships were the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2012 in Ufa , where he finished 14th in the sprint with a shooting error. Siim made his World Cup debut in Oberhof in 2013 , when he finished last in the Estonian relay.
