3 Ninjas - Fight & Fury (Original title: 3 Ninjas Knuckle Up ) is an American action comedy directed by Shin Sang-ok from 1995 .

action

The three boys Rocky, Colt and Tum Tum spend their summer holidays with their grandfather as always. Shortly before they arrive, they meet a demonstration by Indians against the industrialist Jack's landfill on their land. Jack's thugs break up this demonstration, with the girl Jo being brutally knocked over. Their father kidnapped Jack because he was in possession of a floppy disk with evidence that it was a toxic waste dump.

When a visit to the pizzeria is due, the three boys meet Jo and Jack's group of thugs again. Since they were introduced to ninja martial arts by their grandfather , they help Jo and beat up the thugs. They decide to free Jo's father. There is no time to waste because a public hearing on the landfill is about to take place. So they plan a nocturnal rescue operation, which they succeed. However, there are also many fights against Jack's staff.

In gratitude they are declared tribal warriors by the Indians. The ceremony is disrupted by Jack's people, but together with the Indians they can all run away. Desperate, Jack hires a motorcycle gang who attacks the Indians while they are on their way to the hearing, and kidnaps Jo. She won't be released until Jo's father hands the disk to Jack. The three boys follow the gang to their hiding place. Meanwhile, Jack presses Jo's father not to testify at the hearing, whatever he does. Rocky, Colt and Tum Tum are able to free Jo after a long fight and bring her to town for a hearing. Just in time because her father is just about to hand Jack the disk.

The landfill will be closed due to the polluting material.

Reviews

“Sang-ok Shin's film presents itself as an entertaining action adventure, perfectly tailored to a young audience, with an ecological message. Everything that kids love is offered here: speed, fast-paced action and cool sayings. The fact that the three ninja heroes actually make most of their adult colleagues look very old when it comes to technology should give the latter food for thought and help make the '3 Ninjas' a cult series among young fans. "

“The plot only serves as a pretext to acrobatically stage the brutal martial arts of the three little ninjas. Even if there is no blood flowing for young people in this television slapstick, the film remains questionable. "
