action

The three boys Rocky, Colt and Tum Tum are trained to be ninja fighters on Grandfather Mori Shintaro's estate . He explains to them that he has to go to his hometown in Japan in a week, which he invites them to do. As a young ninja fighter, he won a championship with a dagger which, in conjunction with a samurai sword , is supposed to give access to a fabled treasure of gold. He is now supposed to present this dagger to the winner at this year's championships.

However, the boys have to prefer a baseball game for the championship so their grandfather travels to Japan alone. His opponent at the time, Koga, seeks revenge, steals the sword in Japan and is now after the dagger. To do this, he hires three young men who are born failures. In Japan, the grandfather is the victim of a traffic accident staged by them and is in hospital. When Rocky, Colt and Tum Tum find out about this, they travel to their grandfather without their parents' knowledge. There they meet the girl Miyo, also a ninja.

The dagger is taken from them in Japan by Koga, who also locks them up as a prisoner together with Miyo. However, they can break free through a trick and a lot of combat. In the meantime, Koga has her grandfather hostage and forces him to show him access to the gold treasure. The three boys and Miyo follow them into the gold chamber, where again there is fighting and a dangerous confrontation between Mori and Koga. After the chamber suddenly begins to collapse, everyone can save themselves at the last second.

Koga goes back to the wisdom that a ninja should never desire and makes peace with Mori. He hands Miyo, who won the competition, the dagger. Back in the USA, the three boys win the baseball championship together with Miyo.

criticism

“Three little ninja fighters accompany their grandfather and teacher to Japan, where a competition will decide who will own a dagger that promises access to a fabulous treasure. Flogging entertainment garnished with striving comedy that confirms a number of prejudices. The film becomes questionable because it exclusively advertises violence as a conflict resolution strategy. "

“The three young stars Max Elliot Slade, Sean Fox and Evan Bonifant present a children's adventure 'Made in USA' that will make you wish you were teenagers again. Lively and briskly choreographed fight scenes, nice dialogues and a correct plot, some adult martial arts colleagues could take an example. Conclusion: An entertaining mix of ' Karate Kid ' and ' Kevin ', which not only the younger fight fans get their money's worth. "
