Silgueiros (Viseu) is a municipality in the city of Viseu in Portugal . Until August 30, 1995, the official name was Loureiro de Silgueiros . On July 24, 1997 Silgueiros was elevated to a small town (Vila) .

The municipality consists of other, smaller places: Passos , Pindelo , Falorca , Casal Jusäo , Mosteiro , Pourinheiro , Lages and Loureiro - whereby Silgueiros appears as the core of this "total place".

There is also a village called Povoa Dão , which has been rebuilt according to old plans and also belongs to Loureiro de Silgueiros.
