Silk Electric is Diana Ross's twelfth studio album ; it was released on September 10, 1982.

history

Silk Electric was the second album to be released by RCA Records . The album cover designed by Andy Warhol , with Ross' face in profile, and the cover image for the Grammy- nominated single Muscles are particularly well-known . It was the second album that the singer produced herself, except for the aforementioned hit, which Michael Jackson wrote and produced. The album was awarded gold by the Recording Industry Association of America .
