Silke hunters (* 6. February 1968 in Freital as Silke Liebisch ) is a former German volleyball player .

Silke Jäger was around 50 times national player for the GDR and Germany and came third at the 1991 European Championship in Italy . She started with volleyball in Freital and later played for SC Dynamo Berlin , with which she was GDR champion several times . After the reunification, Jäger played for the Bundesliga club CJD Berlin , with whom she won the DVV Cup in 1992. Then the middle blocker moved to league competitor Bayern Lohhof and 1995 to 1. VC Schwerte .

With the SCU Lüdinghausen and the USC Münster , Jäger has been German senior champion several times.
