Silowyje maschiny ( Russian Силовые машины , abbreviated Silmasch) is a Russian manufacturer of energy machines , v. A. Turbines owned by the oligarch Alexei Mordashov . The company consists of the Leningradski metallitscheski zavod (LMS), the Zavod turbinnych lopatok (STL), " Elektrosila ", Energomaschexport , the Kaluga turbine plant and Reostat . With the subsidiary EMAljans , Silowyje maschiny is also active in boiler construction. In addition, Silowyje maschiny operates the Boiler and Turbine Research Institute (ZKTI) in Saint Petersburg.
In 2014, Silovye maschiny made 37% of its sales with water turbines , 20% with hydrogen generators , 11% with steam turbines and 7% with turbo generators .
At the joint venture Siemens Gas Turbines Technologies (SGTT) has Power Machines accounted for 35%.
