New Year's Chapel (Mindelheim)
The former Catholic Chapel of St. Silvester in Mindelheim , a town in the Upper Swabian district of Unterallgäu in Bavaria , was built around 1409. The building at Hungerbachgasse 9 is a listed building .
description
The late Gothic saddle roof building was donated by Anna of Poland , the wife of Ulrich I von Teck . The chapel was profaned at the beginning of the 19th century .
The 48 meter high tower on the south side is crowned by a lantern dome. Changes were made in the 18th century. Modifications took place in the 19th century and in 1948/49.
Todays use
The Swabian Tower Clock Museum has been located in the chapel since 1979 .
