Silviano Delgado (born September 4, 1969 in Coatzacoalcos , Veracruz ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .
career
Delgado began his professional career at Puebla FC , for which he was first used on January 26, 1992 in a game of the Mexican Primera División against Club Atlas (0-0). About nine months later he scored his only two goals in the top Mexican division in the 4-2 away win of the Camoteros at the UAT Correcaminos on October 18, 1992. Initially, he ensured the important 1: 1 equalization after 30 minutes and then scored the decisive goal for the 4: 1 lead in the 88th minute.
After his time at Puebla FC, he played for Deportivo Toluca FC in 1995/96 and for the next four years at CA Monarcas Morelia before retiring to the second division . There he played first for the Lagartos de Tabasco, then for the Alacranes de Durango and the Albinegros de Orizaba and most recently for the Delfines de Coatzacoalcos .
Olympic participation
In 1992 Delgado was part of the squad of the Mexican U-23 selection at the Olympic soccer tournament . He played the three preliminary round matches against Denmark, Australia and Ghana, all of which ended 1-1 and were ultimately responsible for Mexico's early elimination.
