The Silyanov Peak (English; Bulgarian Силянов връх Siljanow wrach ) is a 2250 m high and pointed mountain peak in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 15.02 km southwest of Mount Dalrymple , 10.07 km west of Ahrida Peak , 11.43 km northwest of Mount Hale , 10.36 km north of Mount Hubley , 11.65 km east of Kowil-Nunatak and 1, 74 km south-southeast of the Memolli Nunatak from the main ridge of the north-central part of the Sentinel Range in the Ellsworth Mountains . Its steep and mainly ice-free east and south-west slopes are particularly striking.
American scientists mapped it in 1961. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2014 after the Bulgarian revolutionary, historian and journalist Christo Siljanow (1880–1939).
