Mount Dalrymple is a 3600 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises between Mount Alf and Mount Goldthwait in the northern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
It was mapped by the so-called Marie Byrd Land Traverse Party , a team mainly to explore Marie Byrd Land between 1957 and 1958. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1960 after the American meteorologist Paul Clement Dalrymple (* 1923) who was on the crew of Little America V in the Antarctic winter of 1957 and of the Amundsen-Scott South Pole station .
