Simón Andreu

Simón Andreu Trobat (born January 1, 1941 in Sa Pobla , Mallorca ) is a Spanish actor .

Life

Andreu enjoyed training as a drama student, but never finished it, as he had already received the offer to play in the 1961 film Siempre es domingo by Fernando Palacios . His career got off to a quick start and, in addition to productions in his home country, continued in French films; mostly he was the sinister opponent of the hero, but sometimes also a Latin lover or a relative of the protagonist. To date, he has played roles in nearly 140 films and television productions; in numerous genres such as horror films or spaghetti westerns he participated. Since the 1980s one saw more in international large-scale productions in larger supporting roles. Andreu also plays in the remake of Ben Hur .

In some films he was led under the pseudonym Sam Alston .
