Simon Schnepp

Simon Schnepp (born August 1, 1983 in Osnabrück ) is a German photo artist.

Life

Simon Schnepp grew up with his two older sisters with his mother in Osnabrück . His father is Wilfried Schnepp , who taught at the University of Witten / Herdecke as a professor. In 2004, Simon Schnepp moved to Berlin with his then partner and current wife . There he completed an apprenticeship as a photo designer from 2008 to 2010 , where he met his current work partner Morgane Renou. Simon Schnepp and Morgane Renou have been working as an artist duo under the name Schnepp Renou for international magazines, architects and collections since 2010. Simon Schnepp lives with his wife and two children in Berlin-Neukölln . Since 2016 he has been working increasingly in Paris , where the artist duo Schnepp Renou is now based with their studio.

As part of the artist duo Schnepp Renou, Simon Schnepp took part in various national and international exhibitions. Simon Schnepp is also part of the artist collective Neue Langeweile, which consists of Marcus Bredt , hiepler, brunier (David Hiepler and Fritz Brunier), Morgane Renou and himself.
