Sinan Turan (born July 1, 1985 in Maçka ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Turan started club football in 1999 in the youth of the Istanbul club Kartalspor . Two years later he moved to the first division Galatasaray Istanbul with a professional contract . Here he played for four and a half years exclusively for the youth or reserve team. In the spring of 2005 he moved to the second division side Elazığspor . Here he only played until the end of the season and then hired the first division club Diyarbakırspor . After he sat exclusively on the bench for this club for the first year, he came to six league appearances in the second season. It was only after the club was relegated to the TFF 1st Lig in the summer of 2006 that he made the leap into the regular formation.

After he worked for Diyarbakırspor until the summer of 2008, he left this club. For the summer of 2010 he was hired by the second division Orduspor . Although he did not get beyond the role of reservist here, he was with his club playoff winner of the TFF 1st Lig and rose to the Süper Lig . For the 2011/12 season he was then loaned to the third division Konya Şekerspor .

After he had remained without a club in the first half of the 2012/13 season, he was hired for the second half of the season at Kahramanmaraşspor . With this club he finished the season as a master of the TFF 2nd Lig and rose to the TFF 1st Lig.

National team

Turan played for the Turkish U19 and U20 national teams from 2003 to 2005. In 2004 he made it to the finals with the Turkish U-19 at the U-19 European Football Championship in 2004 . Here they failed after a 1-0 defeat against the Spanish U-19s and became vice European champion.
