Siri Pettersen (2019)

Siri Pettersen (born October 28, 1971 in Finnsnes ) is a Norwegian writer and comic book author . In 2015 she won with Evna the Havmannpreis for the best North Norwegian book.

Siri Pettersen was born in Northern Norway and worked as a designer until her book successes .

Siri Pettersen made her debut in 2002 with the comic series Anti-klimaks , for which she was awarded the SPROING Prize for the best debut in 2003. Other comics were Kråkene and Myrktid in the fantasy area .

With the Ravneringene trilogy, Pettersens published a series of successful fantasy novels for young people. The Raven Rings ( Odinskind, Fäulnis und Gabe ) were translated into German by Dagmar Missfeldt and Dagmar Lendt . Further translations have appeared in Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Estonian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Czech and Ivrit . The books have been awarded or nominated for a number of domestic and international prizes, most recently they were shortlisted for the German Fantastic Prize 2019.
