Dagmar Missfeldt
Dagmar Missfeldt (born April 1, 1964 in Hamburg ) is a German Scandinavian scholar and translator .
Life
Mißfeldt graduated from 1984 to 1993, a study of the Finno-Ugric and Scandinavian Studies at the universities in Munich , Hamburg , Goettingen , Turku and at Åbo Akademi , which she in 1993 with a master's degree completed. Today she lives as a freelance translator in Hamburg. She is also a lecturer in Swedish at the University of Hamburg and, since 2009, has been lecturer and head of the center for examinations for obtaining the Swedish "Swedex" certificate at the University of Lüneburg .
Mißfeldt translates narrative works for adults, children and adolescents as well as non-fiction books from Swedish, Finnish , Norwegian and Danish into German . Her other area of activity is the translation of the dialogues for the German dubbed versions of Scandinavian feature films and television games , including the film adaptations of the Millennium trilogy Stieg Larssons .
Dagmar Missfeldt is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works (VdÜ).
