Sirig ( Serbian - Cyrillic Сириг , Hungarian Szőreg ) is a village in the southern Batschka of Serbia . It belongs to the Opština Temerin in the autonomous province of Vojvodina . Sirig has a Serb majority population, its population at the 2002 census was 3,010 people.
history
Sirig is the youngest and smallest town in the Temerin Opština. The village is first mentioned in the 15th century.
